Delete your Expenda account

You can erase your financial data in the app at any time, or ask us to delete your whole Expenda account.

Erase your financial data in the app

  1. Open Expenda and go to More → Finances.
  2. Choose Purge finance and confirm. Your device needs an internet connection.

This removes every wallet, transaction and attached file from our servers and from every device signed in to your account. It cannot be undone. Your account stays, so you can start again.

Delete your account

Deleting the account itself is not available in the app yet. To request it:

  1. Email support@expenda.io from the address you use to sign in to Expenda.
  2. Use the subject "Delete my account".

We may ask you to confirm the request before we act on it. Once it is confirmed, we delete your account within 30 days and email you when it is done.

What is deleted

  • Your account: email address, display name, profile photo and sign-in methods.
  • Your financial records: wallets, transactions, budgets, planned payments, subscriptions and settings.
  • Your attachments, such as photos of receipts.

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Create a CSV export first if you want to keep a copy.

What may be kept

  • Records we must keep by law, only for as long as the law requires.
  • Usage analytics and crash reports. These are not linked to your account, so they cannot be found or deleted per person, and Google deletes them on its own schedule.
